Denise Miller (Co-chair)
Denise Miller has lived in Anderson all her life. She was a 2017 participant of DLTS. Denise wanted to give back and serve on the Committee to help with this wonderful event. She is co-owner with husband Tim of Miller’s Cabinetry Design and works at Gray’s Design Studio in Anderson. Denise is the Vice President of the Paramount Theatre Board of Directors and the Chair of the Volunteer Committee. This is Denise's 6th year on the Dancing Like the Stars Committee. |

Bri McLaughlin (Co-chair)
Bri was born, raised, and currently resides in Madison County, Indiana. Bri studied Health Science at Ball State University and is the former Executive Director of the Anderson Education Foundation. She is currently a Patient Experience Manager at Octapharma, a pharmaceutical company that specializes in rare disease. Bri is very passionate about the Madison County community. She is a 2016 graduate of the Leadership Academy, serves on the Board of Directors for the Paramount Heritage Foundation, CHA Community Chef’s event committee, and volunteers for various service organizations. Bri was a celebrity dancer in the 2018 Paramount Theatre Dancing Like the Stars event and has served on the DLTS committee for 5 years, 3 as co-chair. Bri lives in Lapel, IN and has a beautiful daughter, Emma. Bri is a firm believer in being the change you wish to see in the world!

Debbie Andis
Deborah Hilderbrand Andis earned her BS and Master Degrees in Choral General Music Education with a minor in Music Therapy and a focus in voice and double bass from Ball State University and was a 4 year member of the “Ball State University Singers”, SAI Professional Music and AOPi Philanthropic Sororities. During her years of teaching, Debbie was the Director of Choral Activities at Highland High School for 14 years where choirs under her direction received top awards at ISSMA, and show choirs consistently placed in the top six groups, earned caption awards, and named grand champions at competitions throughout Indiana and the U.S. She has also served as Choral Director at ACS Middle Schools, and as an Elementary Music Specialist. Debbie served as a contract faculty member of the Ball State University School of Music serving as the Assistant Director of the “Ball State University Singers”.
Debbie enjoys holding workshops with choirs during their show preparation, judging show choir competitions throughout the Midwest, served as music director for Highland Middle School’s Musicals, as well as choreographing for other area schools. She has served as a clinician for the ISU Summer Show Choir Camp, directed the Illinois State Vocal Jazz Ensemble, assisted in forming a new show choir in Bridgeport, WV, judged the WVMEA State Show Choir Finals, and has been featured as guest soloist for the Madison County Director’s Band at the ISSMA State Convention. Her three granddaughters, Hadleigh, Presley, and Amelia are her sparkling pride and joy!

Taffanie McGhee
Taffanie McGhee, 51 is an Anderson native, hair and eye fashion artist. This is her fifth year with Dancing like the Stars and chaired the event in 2019 & 2020. "I wanted to give back and join the Committee to help with this wonderful event." Exciting news...this year she is Dancing Like the Stars on the historic Paramount Theatre stage with her professional partner Rob Jenkins! Taffanie has been in employed with the State of Indiana Department of Child Services for seven years and is a fitness instructor at Anderson YMCA. One of her passions is serving her community, she has coordinated several fund raisers and church community events.

Kay Anderson, DLTS Founder
For as long as she can remember, dancing has been a part of Kay’s life. She was four years old when she started dancing on the stage at the Paramount as a student of Miss Ann Harmeson and continued as her assistant during her high school years.
With the reopening of the historic Paramount Theatre in 1995, she initiated the ballroom dance instruction and coordinated the dance program. She assisted with the instruction for 25 years and has been involved with various fundraising events including the Dancing Like the Stars, which she founded. Her career also included teaching in the Anderson Public Schools for 34 years. She is retired as a floral designer from Ousley’s Harvest Gardens.
She is currently involved with the 15th Dancing Like the Stars fundraising event for the Paramount Theatre Centre and Ballroom and is a member of the Board of Directors. She is also a member of the TimeSteppers, Tap Dance Team. She is married to Steve Anderson, a retired teacher, and they have two children, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Kay encourages everyone to CHOOSE TO DANCE.

Diana Miller
Having participated in several performing arts groups during her youth, Diana rediscovered her love of dance 14 years ago after taking an introductory ballroom class at her local YMCA. She continued her ballroom instruction with Ed Godby-Schwab, assisting with classes and eventually, becoming his dance and teaching partner. As an independent instructor, Diana offers both group and private lessons in American Smooth and Rhythm dances at The Dance Center in Lapel, the Fishers YMCA, Noblesville Forest Park and various other local venues and dance clubs, including Continental Dance Club and USA Dance. She particularly enjoys teaching new dancers and helping them discover their own passion for dance. This is Diana's 10th year participating in The Paramount Theatre’s DLTS fundraiser. She has previously been a recipient of the Judge’s Choice, Audience Choice and People’s Choice Runner-Up awards with past dance partners. Diana has also won several awards while participating in the Hamilton County Meals On Wheels Dancing with Our Stars fundraising event for the past 7 years. While she always enjoys a little friendly competition, Diana's biggest reward from partaking in these events, has been meeting and working with so many kind and generous people, all coming together to benefit a great cause.

Ivy Walsh
Ivy Walsh grew up in Pendleton and attended Indiana University. Ivy and her husband Bob reside in Yorktown. They have three children, Austin, Olivia, and Evan. Which keep her busy! As the Brand & Creative Services Specialist at Community Hospital Anderson, she works on the Marketing & Communications team creating graphic design for the hospital. She is a lifelong lover of all forms of art, from discovering dance as a small child to teaching dance as a young woman. Ivy went on to major in fine art and design in school. She enjoys painting, drawing, and ceramics in her spare time. She loves animals and has a zoo at home of four dogs and three cats. Ivy is a member of Anderson Noon Exchange Club and serves on their board of directors.

Rita Byanski serves as a Project Coordinator and joined the St. Vincent team in August 2007. She earned her degree in Public Relations from Purdue University and has been active in the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life for over 15 years. She is a proud mother of 2 amazing daughters, has THE perfect granddaughter and attends Anderson Church of the Brethren.
